What are the technical specifications of OrchidWiz?

Can I download the software instead of paying for shipping?

Yes, you can.  When adding either OrchidWiz Encyclopedia or the Quarterly Update and Maintenance Plan to your cart, select Media "Download Only (No Shipping Charge) located above the button "Add to Cart.".  You will receive instructions for download as well as your product key which you will need to activate the program.

Please note the full program OrchidWiz Encyclopedia may take several hours to download.  To test the download, go to Support -> Downloads and click the link "OrchidWiz Encyclopedia X6.0" or a more recent version if one is listed.

Make sure to select the Media you want. Your  media options are:  

  • DVD [default]:  One or two DVDs will be sent to you.  If two DVDs, once you are finished installing DISK1, the installation will ask you to insert DISK2.
  • Download Only (No Shipping Charge):  You need to have high-bandwidth internet for this option, and it may still take several hours to download the software.  OrchidWiz Support will email you your activation key.
  • USB Flash Drive (USB shipped with full installation only. Updates are available via download)
  • Micro SD (MicroSD shipped with full installation only. Updates are available via download)

Can I pay in a currency other than US dollars?

All pricing is US dollars. All payment is in US dollars.
